Memories are a huge part of any human being; they are our past and they help shape our future. The picture of the thought bubble was a simple and easy choice because I thought it was a good physical manifestation of memory. I picked the quote from The Grapes of Wrath because the passage with Ma and her box of memories fit so perfectly. And then I decided to add the quote from The Things They Carried because it is one of my favorite quotes in general, and it also fit easily with the fact that you can't forget, just as Ma can't and won't forget.
